A Dance of Ghosts Shadowdance David Dalglish Books

A Dance of Ghosts Shadowdance David Dalglish Books
David Dalglish has done it again (and even better I might add)! This is a great book to read after The Breaking World Series. The reader gets a greater understanding of Ashur and Karak in those books and it translates well here.
There are callbacks to a number of previous books and characters with more than a few mind-blowing surprises.
The characters are complex and at times frustrating. I was pretty angry at Thren, and Haern by the end of this one.
As per usual, there is quite a bit of intrigue to go along with the swordplay. This book has an overwhelming sense of tragedy and foreboding. I can't recommend it highly enough!

A Dance of Ghosts Shadowdance David Dalglish Books Reviews
Wonderful read. Eloquently written by easily one of the most skilled and creative authors of our time! Not only did he start from nothing as an author but he has conquered the standard set by others and made it his plaything.
I have been following him for about 3+
years and have recommended him to countless others and have turned them into what I know call "Double D-Bags" thank you mister dalglish for abother riveting book.

I love this series. I have yet to read the sixth and final book, I'm taking a break after reading the others back to back. I've read some of Dalglish's earlier works and it's nice to see how he's progressed. I definitely would recommend this series.
I love this book. The entire aeries kept me on the edge of my seat and the end was fantastic. Id like this series to never end!
Every other page there is a fight scene that resembles the one that occured earlier. I found myself skipping these as they became tedious, especially as this is the trend for all the books in the series. I will finish the series but will refrain from following up the author...
Keep them coming. These books are so good. I don't do long winded reviews. If you like an adult approach to your fantasy then these books are for you. It's kind of like game of thrones with more magic and less politics to keep up with. Characters are solid and engaging. The religious ideology is superb. Since I started reading the half orc series Dalgish has become my favorite author. He is my most anticipated read. Read these books. Do it. Now.
David Dalglish is awesome! Great writing, great world building. Along the lines of Jim Butcher, Peter V Brett, Kim Harrison, George RR Martin, etc. If you like fantasy this book is for you! If you don't like fantasy, might like this anyway as it has similar kind of Game of Thrones vibes, but with better world building in my opinion. It's clear and decisive while still maintaining the mystery, and turn arounds that great books all have.
I was very excited when I read that this was going to be a NEW book featuring some of my favorite characters from David Dalglish. Mostly though I just really wanted to see the interaction with Haern and Thren. Now while I knew that their interaction wasn't going to end with them being buddy buddy they didn't disappoint. Both men remained true to form. The best part about David's books are the villains and the choices they make to get where they are now. While I first read the character Ghost in the self-published books I remember liking him then too. David's action scenes remain exciting.
I can't wait to see what Haern and crew are doing during the first attack on Veldaren in the next book.
If you like this book, please take the time to read David's Half-Orc series.
Another Author you might like is Anthony Ryan's book Blood Song
